Matching Gift Program
We are committed to responsible corporate citizenship and helping improve the quality of life in communities where our employees live and work. Your donation to a 501(c)3 organization is matched dollar for dollar up to $7,500 per calendar year.
Family Building
Through a partnership with Progyny, employees enrolled in a Textron medical plan have access to comprehensive coverage, personalized support, and high-quality care. Progyny coverage includes 1 Smart Cycle for IVF, integrated fertility medication coverage, egg and sperm freezing coverage, or donor tissue purchase coverage.
We also offer employees $10,000 for adoption and surrogacy financial assistance, per child, up to $20,000 lifetime maximum.
Parental Leave
With our paid bonding leave benefits, new parents can take 6 weeks of paid leave after welcoming a new child into your home. We also offer additional paid maternity leave benefits.
Education Assistance
Textron employees can receive up to $8,000 per year for undergraduate and $10,000 per year for graduate programs at accredited universities. There are additional tuition offerings for certifications programs, CPA certifications, A&P, and more.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
Our workforce is made up of individuals throughout the world with a wide range of backgrounds, interests and passions. Our diverse perspectives lead us to be a world-class workforce, helping us develop legendary products and support services. Because we recognize that our differences make us stronger, each of our business units have their own ERGs that allow employees to engage with one another, share interests and experiences, and cultivate community. Our 48 ERGs provide education, trainings, and celebrations to support diverse employees.
