Textron's internship spans a dynamic 10-week period, primarily from early June to mid-August. In many of our business units, we offer alternatives to the traditional 40-hour work week, resulting in more days off! Schedules may vary depending on business unit location.

At most of our internship locations, interns are paired with professionals outside their immediate managerial circle, fostering a broad network and a diverse learning environment. Additionally, participation in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and various business unit initiatives is encouraged, further enhancing the potential for mentorship and professional growth.

We are proud to say that our internship program serves as a substantial steppingstone to full-time positions within Textron. Interns are encouraged to explore and apply for subsequent internships or full-time roles, with performance, preference, and organizational fit being key determinants. Historically, 80% to 90% of our interns have been offered return positions, reflecting our commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the future leaders of our company.
